is a great home-base for exploring the Big Island of Hawaii. Centrally located 7 miles north of downtown Kailua Kona, at a comfortable elevation in a quiet neighborhood, we are 10-15 minutes from the airport and the beautiful beaches along the Kona-Kohala Coast. We are half a mile Ocean View of Kona Coastline from Plumeria Suite Lanaifrom the picturesque Makalei Hawaii Golf Course. Waimea is a half hour drive, and Hilo and Volcanoes National Park make a great day trip.

Your hosts, Anne Stockel and daughter, Nanette offer four beautiful  vacation studios with ocean and garden views.  Each features a separate entrance,Enjoy Breakfast on our Ocean View Lanai. private, full bath, wireless high speed internet, and cable TV. Three studios have kitchenettes with refrigerator /freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, electric skillet, rice cooker, hot water pot, and dishes. The fourth studio, the Orchid Suite, has a full kitchen with modern appliances.

All studios have comfortable queen size beds, and sleeper sofas for extra guests. Glass sliders open unto spacious, covered lanais. The Plumeria and Pineapple Suites have aAll Studios have Kitchenettes with Dining Area separate sitting area and walk-in closets. A washing machine, dryer, detergent and ironing board are available free of charge. We also offer the entire ocean view home for family or friends traveling together.

A welcome basket with fresh tropical fruit, baked goods and juice awaits our guests upon arrival. Coffee, tea and cocoa are always provided. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, and breakfast at your leisure. After a day of fun, relax Sitting Room Half of Plumeria Suiteon our expansive lanais and enjoy sunset views of the coastline.

Anne and Nanette have lived in Kona for over 20 years and have explored this beautiful island extensively. We will be glad to help you plan your daily adventures. We will also loan you beach chairs, towels, coolers, and View of Bears Place Guest House from the Garden boogie boards free of charge.  provided. There is plenty of free off-street parking.
